I miss the days of losing players "to Saban"

At least you could make some sense of it. Alabama was a better program and players were virtually guaranteed of playing for a national title if they went there. But at least there was some hope that if you could get your program to that level, the tables would turn.

Now you are simply getting outbid by Michigan, Texas, USC.... There's no hope that your very own billionaires are going to air drop in and change the course of things. Terrible spot to be in.
