He was our most solid recruit and stood with LSU when we didn't have a coach. Then we offer ANOTHER QB out of nowhere and avoid calling him back? Bruh

How is this commendable? We were not going to have the coach position opened forever. Miles got so much shite after the Franks fiasco now we do want all our eggs in one basket?

I'm sure that they were honest with Myles' HS Coach Conides and that the offense is going in a different direction. I'm sure that with the offer to Tua and visit to Narcisse yesterday that there is obvious direction from the future OC.

Now whether or not they can land Tua or not remains to be seen and probably unlikely but, maybe they are okay with only Narcisse in this class. They might feel good about only him because we are in good hands with McMillan and Scott in this new system.

If so, we made the wrong hire.

Not sinking, but you have to admit that from the outside looking in, the program does seem to be in a bit of turmoil at the moment.

Agree with Sid. I think Coach O felt to get job part of his role was to keep the class together. Once he got job he could make it his class. I cite his "we will run a pro-style" to "nowadays ...dual threat...". The pro style comment was to insure he played it safe and stayed with Etling to help the team and secure the job. Now coach O makes the team his. Which will mean two dual threat guys one for sure Narcisse (hence the 3 coaches) the other?

Then why is everyone acting as if the sky is falling? If Brennan was good as this board makes him out to be He shouldn't be scared of competition.

To only take one QB this class is not the end of the world if they feel good about RSFr Scott and RSSoph McMillan. Or they feel good about Tua actually coming.

We claim we wanted change on offense well this is a characteristic of real change. Things get shaken up. I hope Brennan changes his mind, but if he doesn't want to come in and earn it, bye.

Bc hes the best QB we have committed and have a shot of coming here

He wasn't scared of competition and showed it by sticking with us when we offered Narcisse

That doesn't mean he should stand by while we utterly disrespect him when there are plenty of schools who would actually appreciate his commitment

This is not about how good he is. This is about hoping we're not forced to downgrade from him, or give up replacing him entirely, creating that void in the roster somewhere down the road.

Agree. Also, he had to know Myles would be upset. Seems that if he really wanted to keep Myles, O would have reached out prior to the offer to a new QB.

Where do y'all get this from? I mean really hard to assess how good he is until he is on campus playing against some real competition.

Good for him. Now that we offer a kid that wasn't even on our radar until today he gets nervous?

Disrespect?! Some of y'all have lost y'all fricking minds. Like Ole Miss and State?

I have sat out and caught a throwing session with Myles and he's got a great arm. its disappointing for him with how excited he has been to be a tiger to basically feel like he has been slapped in the face. He has some mobility to move around in the pocket..
I don't understand what our coaching staff is and has been trying to do.. its easier to coach a pro style qb to move around and take off then it is to keep a "dual threat" in the pocket, reading progressions, and not just ready to pull it down and run all the time.
