How would you fix recruiting?

It’s a total joke as it currently works. The Burch circus is just the latest in a seemingly annual display of dumb shite.
Between using 1980s technology, constant flip flops, coaches bailing, processing, etc., it’s just really seedy and gross.
Are there any practical ideas that could be implemented quickly to fix this broken system?

Horrible. You’re telling high school kids they can’t choose where they go to school.
So a kid who is a stud player, that grew up in Baton Rouge, his siblings go to LSU, and he is a die hard LSU fan might get chosen by another school.

Do away with Rivals, 247, etc. The coaches will still do their legwork, and the Advocate can print the list of 25(ish) players who signed after the first Wednesday in February. Going back to the stone ages is the only way to reverse the media circus this has become.

Make hard deadline dates. As in you sign on national signing day or you don’t sign at all. Forced to play juco or sit out.
I mean kids and family have had plenty of time to make an educated decision on where to attend by February of their senior year.

Top 100 prospects TV show, each prospect announcing top 3 schools. Advertising proceeds fund classes for all the prospects about how to prepare for the NFL, importance of financial dos and donts, etc.

Eliminate signing day. Once kid is a senior, and you offer a scholarship he can sign on the spot

Give recruits an “Out Clause”
When they sign their LOI there is a line that says why they signed to said school (wether it be because of a coach, playing time, facilities, etc.)
When the school accepts the LOI they agree to that contract.
If at any point the cause is found to be void, the player is allowed to transfer wherever they want without having to sit out a year.
