How much does JD's development affect future recruits?

JD's transformation from last year to this year is truly something to behold and BK deserves a ton of credit for his development.
After last season BK and Denbrock made a pitch to JD that they had a plan to get him to the next level. I don't think that any of us expected it to be this good though.
I'm not sure that JD would have been drafted, as a QB, before this season. That fact has to be a YUGE selling point for future recruits.
None of us can truly know how much it will help, but it certainly can't hurt to know that BK can develop players as well as any head coach in the country.

January 6th when Bryce Underwood commits to LSU you'll have your answer

Sure as shite doesn't hurt
Going from good but inconsistent to having statistically one of the best seasons in NCAA history is pretty eye opening.

He's going to have much better receivers if he comes to LSU.

As we have seen before... commitments are nice; we need commitments to turn into signings.

honestly we need to lock down joe sloan for a really long time for vastly improving JD5

I watched the Michigan-Penn State game and UM ran 32 straight running plays in the 2nd half. Zero passes in half #2.
Not sure how UM recruits any QBs or WRs worth a damn honestly...

The correct answer. Daniels success has been monumental in the Underwood recruitment.
The news is so cyclical now that many barely remember year to year. The momentum from it could carry over to the '26 class a little but likely not significantly unless we keep it going next year. Sloan deserves whatever he asks within reason. Denbrock earns some grace. Kelly has the defense to worry about.

I agree that seeing Daniels development has been huge for Underwood.
He can easily see himself doing some of what Daniels is doing.

Great to have the table flipped but don't forget, defense wins championships.
