All the ones who are committed and for sure have a spot will sign. Guys like ardarius Washington last year wont sign bc we might be replacing them with other talent we can potentially land in February

If they don’t sign in Dec then they aren’t committed.

...are likely a grade casualty. No reason other than qualifying to not sign if you are committed prior to the early signing day.

I have a question? How many guys can come in early or is there a limit at all?

My hope is that LSU and this staff start getting more and more guys to come in early and compete in the spring/summer. We had a good amount this year. This gives the team along with the players a huge leg up on the competition.

There is a limit and it is based on the 85 scholarship limit. First, to the extent you are below 85 in the fall, you can fill it with EEs. Second, EEs can replace players who have graduated by Dec and are leaving the team. For example Greedy and Rashard may declare early for the NFL. If Rashard graduates by Dec and Greedy doesn't, then an EE can replace Rashard, but not Greedy. I don't know the overall numbers for this year.

Isn't there a difference between early enrollees and early signees.

Not all of the early signees will necessarily be early enrollees.

Please correct if I am wrong.

Correct. You can now sign in December, but you can't enroll in the school early unless you graduate early. Majority of kids will graduate in May, and enroll in the first summer semester in 2019.

That's what I thought. I didn't know for certain but I figured there was a limit. Well what ever the numbers are I hope we fill every slot we have with early enrollees.

All the ones that don't have doubt or the coaches don't have doubt about coming here.

If a guy doesn't sign in December that's "committed" to the school, then consider the possibility very high of them not being in the class.
