Herron, Neal, and Patterson are already committed. Prevot and Williams are very highly coveted.

Yea Williams will likely be the last. 4 in all.

Agreed. If Prevot wants in, I think they make room. If Beckwith wants in I still think he ends up at DE eventually.

I know the topic gets people worked up, but at this point I have to imagine at least 1 if not 2 current commits are going to get "processed."

why do we need four DEs in one class, are they all that good barring williams and patterson?

This. We took 1 DE last year and 0 in 2011, so we have to stock up on DEs this year.

We are losing alot on the DL definitely need more bodies. Also judging by what I heard about Beckwith earlier he probablly has better foot work at DE than LB.

Agreed ... I was wondering about ALLEN the other day. Blackwell also came from WM as a DE but didn't have the footspeed and bulked up to play OL. I don't think Allen could make it on the OL considering all the studs we have now.

Jermauria Rasco says lol, but you're basically right. Staff is looking to stock up because all the proven players are heading out after this year one way or the other.

yeah and neal will be used as a 3rd down pass rusher from comments ive seen from him thats all he wants to do

patterson is a project, will take him a couple of years to grow into his frame but will be very good

Id say 2 more at least. If Prevot wants in, then he and Williams. If we dont get Prevot, Beckwith slides down to DE with Williams.

I also think Herron could be a guy we ask to look elsewhere if all three that I mentioned above want in. I think weve already encouraged him to take his visits

Nothing I've heard suggests that Patterson is a project. He will probably redshirt, just because most do, but you won't find many things here that don't have his name right by the word "underrated." Staff got on him early, and many think he would have been highly recruited if we hadn't locked him up.

If anything, Neal get's talked about as the project, but mostly because people see 3-star and draw that conclusion on their own.

I don't believe this for a second and would love to see anything you have to backup. He looked very good to me on the limited film from The Opening.

We lose 6 dline this year, you need bodies. Guys can always bulk up and move inside like brockers and ferguson. Maclin and allen are young. I say this a lot, nut sam said allen could be the next great lsu de. Didnt mention anyone else.

If true, that's not cool. Not cool at all.

Regardless of what players switch positions or could be projects. We need 4 DE's and 2 DT's
