That would be outstanding because it’s a position of need, he is an elite recruit, and he was considered somewhat of a long shot to land.

I know we benefit from it as well sometimes, but I want the tampering / NIL situation to start getting some parameters.

Players have always flipped, but late in the process. NIL and the transfer portal has actually stabilized high school recruitment in my opinion. We know what we have in December at the latest instead of February now. Really all the chips fall before the season it seems like because high school recruits will get beat out by transfers if not.

Seems mutual at this point. He’s up in College Station all the time and House has other guys onboard now, with Devin Smith possibly getting onboard too. Welcome to the world of recruiting, where nobody knows anything, and even after kids sign it’s not over.
