Watching Peter Parish in warmups this year, the ball doesn't fly out of his hand well at all. He needs to strengthen his arm a tremendous amount for him to ever get a look at our starting spot.

Gotta love this board. You post a 100% fact and get nothing but downvotes.

Honestly, I’m not terribly interested in QB rankings out of HS. We’ve had a couple of 5 star QBs in the past and they didn’t work out. I don’t discount recruits who are 5 stars because of their rankings, but this isn’t the position to be star-gazing.

With the recruiting boost we’re riding, if the staff sticks with Johnson and Finley despite any interest from higher rated guys that the staff might be hearing, I’m all-in on the guys we got. It might be different for 2021, but we’ll see.

How long before we start signing QB like Tua or Trevor Lawrence

I'd prefer that LSU sign a QB like Joe Burrow more than I hope LSU signs a QB like Tua or Trevor Lawrence, but that's me.

Perfect world would allow Brady to groom whoever it is for a couple or few years.

So Passing Game Coordinator Joe Brady not only coached up the wide receiver room but at the same time, he was also behind the scenes really the offensive coordinator and the play-caller and on top of all of that he also coached up Joe Burrow into a Heisman winner, at the same time, and even though he never coached QBs before. Wow...give that superman a raise. As he is not a normal coach or human being, for that matter. Indeed, he's superman.

Nothing about what he posted is fact! It’s his unprofessional opinion about a Quarterback that our coaches recruited and obviously feel different about. I rather trust the coaches opinion over some guy making statements from watching warmups.

That's funny cause Jimmy Details reported that his arm strength and throwing talent since arriving at LSU was much better than anyone had ever expected.

Miles Brennan
Peter Parish
Max Johnson
TJ Finley

One of a few of these guys won't stay here. Especially if we go after a transfer. With this offense in place now, it's only a matter of time before one of the top 5* QB picks us. More than likely it will be Williams for 21'. Then you can bet your arse we will be going all in for Manning in a few years.

Ranked #280 nationally?

Pass!

I think he and Lamar Jackson (3 star, #409 nationally) far outplayed their recruiting rankings from that class

The guy said he needs to improve his arm strength, he didn't say he sucks.

We could have had King, third ranked QB by 247.

I don't have a problme with it. I know everyone wants everything to be positive, I just comment on what I believe to be true. Not bashing the kid in any way, all true freshman have things they need to improve on.

Check out this cool 4-star...

Joe Burrow

Most interesting thing about this list is that 2 Heisman winners (Lamar Jackson and Burrow) are ranked BELOW Brandon Wimbush. Brandon Wimbush!!!
