Same with Anthony Johnson...Although he's a 5-star, I do not see how he's #23 on that list. He's close to the all-time HS national sack record.

I'm not sure because those rating systems are usually perfect.

Both Hilliard and Hill are big power backs which remind me of Hester.

Will it matter in three years? Ingram was a three star until late in the process.

I think Hilliard, Freak, and Jarvis Landry will get their 5th star by Signing Day. Rivals typically end up with 35-40 Five Star players and all 3 are in the top 32 with Greg Robinson at 30. If Robinson signs, LSU could end up with 5 Five Stars, and more importantly, 5 of the top 32 players in the nation.

I love seeing Alabama signing a five star as much as any other fan seeing their program do the same, but there's only around 33 5-stars per year. The best players end up being the ones in the 34-250 range, that haven't completely developed yet.

Say it ain't so........ I see too often this problem. I'd rather rankings in later years.

+1000
Darrell Scott was the best RB in that years class, how did he pan out again? We all know how good Hilliard and Anthony Johnson are. So rivals can go blow themselves.

if you look at past rivals rankings, the five stars usually includes more players than it does now so I think once the all-star games happen, everyones senior film gets looked at, they will add another 5-6 five stars to the number they already have

Lemme start by saying I think he'll honor his commitment, but there are many rumors floating around about Hilliard and the stable of backs already at LSU and also the ones coming in. It is being said he is not 100% anymore on LSU and may be looking around a little.

Take it for what it's worth, but it was said also again today on the radio of a local town.

Thats always something to go on. You can play football or you can't, I don't care about the 40 time. Ryan Clark went undrafted due to his 40 time. The guys still starting in the Pros. Many of the guys drafted that same year are out of the Pros.
