What if I told you LSU is actually benefiting from NIL more than most programs?

Losing out to Whorns and tAgs on occasional recruits doesn’t mean we’re not doing well with NIL and recruiting.

The Athletic did a study and actually found the opposite. Obviously adjusted for sheer volume of high school players every year but the transfers are the ones making the big money on average.

You should tell the rest of the Texas dildo battalion to spread your NIL around. Your school doesn’t win at any sport no matter how much they spend lmao

We just won the Big 12 in basketball and baseball.

And don’t call me Matthew.

Because you’ve been largely tolerated here so far, but when you bring up baseball like that, you won’t be.

Texas fans cannot discuss baseball until their right fielder can catch a pop up. No NIL necessary for that.

No, it’s a tactic that losers like Arkansas and Tennessee fans use to try to diminish a championship. It’s chickenshit.

LSU lost out on many transfers the last 2 off seasons we really wanted.

Yall don’t win without Skenes.

NIL got you Skenes. Its a pretty simple deal I don’t know why you think doing something everyone else is allowed to do under the rules would diminish your championship. Im just saying LSU has zero room to complain about NIL.

How many pitches did Skenes throw in the finals against Florida?

Don’t get me wrong, he was a big part of us getting to the finals. But since we are playing the “if” game we would have been fine without him “if” 4 of our top 6 pitchers didn’t get hurt. And as I said, LSU beat Florida best of three without him pitching once. LSU had arguably the best hitting lineup in the country. What hurt them was all of the pitchers getting hurt. No depth behind Skenes. Having him helped but he’s not nearly as important as a player who has impact every game instead of one. Which actually helps your point because LSU is loaded in baseball. Not nearly as competitive as football because of the MLB draft.

NIL alone did not get us Skenes. I’m betting other teams put out just as much if not more NIL package money for him. What truly got it done was his relationship with Crews from playing together for Team USA, Jay Johnson’s plan and vision on developing him, and a very strong opportunity to win a national championship with a lot of already set pieces.

Yall might've won if you could catch a frickin pop up.

Imagine your season ending on a play most little leaguers make.

Texas baseball is just a fond memory. Joining the SEC will only make that memory more distant.

I would like to see Texas beat Alabama in football this year, but I suspect that's merely wishful thinking.

Why is it that LSU can buy women's bball recruits and baseball with NIL, but not football?

WBB for one the main players have a ton on REAL NIL DEALS. HVL already had a ton deals even before coming to LSU and Morrow stated she wanted a Championship and grow her brand LSU was perfect match. The men's baseball is just known for being among the best. Also I dnt believe most the baseball players moving around is all about money compared to football. Not saying football isn't among the best but football recruits are getting way bigger bags thrown at them.

Our National Brand is so hot right now. Players are getting deals from big corporations. If we keep winning and letting our players show emotion while playing they will continue to get the deals.
