How accurate is Dandy Don’s top 10 for 2019?

Everyone has different opinions on Dandy Don.
Best way to judge a ranking is look at thier previous years of ranking and compare them to actual results.

I remember one year he had Trey Granier as a top 3 in state player

Only ones this year that sticks out to me that I for sure don’t agree with is Lee being above Emery and Harris being #14 in the state.

The answer is obvious!!
It’s a lot about who commits and how fast he can do intel about those who rank recruits. I know it is done to connect fans with news and information, appreciated as pronounced, but not profound.

Not to be a smartass, but the only real way to measure any recruiting rankings is to wait 5 years, then go back and take a look at it.

I agree, it hard to gauge how a kid performs at the next level. Very few can do it in year one but the ones that do tend to be dynamite on the field.
I also believe that if LSU fans were the number one susbscriber to recruiting sites and magazines their class one get extra bumps in the process.
The true measure is how many go on to play at the next level and last for more than 3 seasons.

I would bet everyone on this board reads Dandy Don every day.
I for one love his column and he might not be 100% accurate with his top 10 but I give him an A++ for his time and effort.
And I donate to his fund every year!

Can't believe anyone would hate on Dandy Don. Guy does hard work and gets nothing for it. Who on any site is 100% accurate. Love his site, especially guest write ups.

Agree. DandyDon is a 5*. This site and the Rant are 3*. Both have turned into a handful of guys trying to show up each other and exchange vulgarities. Too bad cause both used to be pretty good. Wish we had more posters like Voltiger13 that share good info without trying to make it about them.
