Before , during, and after his announcement my guy said he thought he'd end up at LSU. Not the case with Cam.

So what does the staff tell adams when he tries to commit in 2 weeks?

There's room for both - especially if you think Hootie will play linebacker, which I think it a 75% probability.

Don't forget what you guys said in the other threads about not wanting Hootie any longer and preferring Jamal Adams!

Or, wait, have you changed your minds?

This was a little unclear, silent to them or silent to us?

Mind not changed. I'll take Hootie but not in place for Adams. That being said.

This is kind of like the Alexander/Deval quandry - we wanted them both, Bama cooled on Alexander after his injury, but if that had not hapened, Bama would have wanted both - but Deval (from Louisiana) was/is a better fit at Bama and Alexander is a better fit here.

I prefer Jamal Adams (if I HAD to pick just one) - because he is a better fit, athletically, for what our current DC wants to do. Hootie, however, is also a top player in the state - for recruiting pipeline reasons, I would make room for him.

I would also tell Adams that I project Hootie as a linebacker, although he will get a look at safety, as well.
