I understand but really I don't about the whole fake ID thing. If you meet a chick like you said out or any place for the reason and if you would happen to ask to see her ID if you thought she might not be 18(which lets face it, some 13 of today look like they are 18) and she pulls the fake ID thing on you and turns out to be underage, what in the hell do you suppose to do? Ask to see a birth certificate? There are so many ways this could go in my opinion. But I will say this, when i was in school, we knew who were 8 and 9 graders and who was pretty much under aged.

I agree as well, these chicks that are under aged need to be held accountable for there actions. 13 to 17 year old girls of today with all this social networking poison out there know exactly what they are doing. Hold them accountable as well and some of them may think twice before doing something stupid!!!! And yes I do have a daughter that is 15. I would hold her arse accountable if she was not forced, this is the key work here.

There are two words that are very old, yet still very true. Jail Bait!

According to the law, a 14 yr old does not have the mental capacity to "consent" to sex. Doesnt matter what anyone thinks or what generation they were raised in. When a guy turns 18, he knows he can get in trouble when he messes around with a 14 yr old. I knew it when I turned 18 and that was 7 years ago, so I know guys know it this day and age, espescially guys that are sexualy active.

Guys make a rational decision at that point, do I mess with this girl or not? He did, hes liable under the law.

The "consent" would be an aggravated cirmcumstance at this point, if Im not mistaken.

Yea, it does suck for the guy, but once again, pussy wins. Girls will get you in trouble.

She is fricking 14 yrs old. A child. IF she was your daughter how would you feel? "Not that big a deal"? There are some sick assholes out there. There is a huge difference between a 23 yr being involved with a 17 yr old..that is why the law is what it is re age.

You've got to be kidding me. This story is unreal on so many levels. Shocking stupidity from an 18 year old with a very bright future.

Yes it is and no matter which way it goes, which I am only thinking one way, he is done! Add him to the list of other sports retards that made a or multiple stupid decisions. I remember watching an interview the Warden Cain at Angola and he said to the reporter, "do you know what is the difference between you and a lot of the guys in here, 1 mistake".

horseshite! This 14 year old girl didn't get these 18 year old boys in trouble. They got themselves in trouble by their lack of self-control.

I understand that some 14 year old girls may be sexually aware and advanced beyong their years, but their still children. Jeremy Hill is 18 years old. Those four years make a huge difference. Couple that with the fact that we are talking about older football players possibly taking advantage of an immature 14 year old girl's "awe" of football players (i.e. celebrity status) and their actions are unacceptable by any measure.

14 year old girls are NOT "fair game", no matter how you try to rationalize it.

If she wasn't forced, and she was going down on two guys in a locker room, I would think I fricked up as a father. I would be upset with the boy, but not as upset that my 14 year old daughter is probably heading for the pole, and it's most likely my fault.

LINK

If you guys truly don't believe a 14 year old is old enough to consent or be aware, then they should not be in the same school as high schoolers.

And I also have a very hard time believing this didn't happen in the 70s and 80s when there was a lot less oversight and sheltering. I would also like to know at what age do I become naive...30..35?

edit: All this being said, legally, he has it coming to him. I hope his life isn't ruined, but his football career probably is.

You basically see the cultural gap and the age gap that exists between people who are from an older generation versus what is now considered accepted fact of what goes on at high schools everywhere.

Yep. They have trouble accepting that teenagers now.. are in an entirely different ballpark then when they attended high school. It's especially hard for the guys and gals with teen aged girls.

Let's say I "make up a scenario." Say my 14 year old daughter tells 2 guys she wants to blow them in the locker room and does so. Then brags about it on facebook. How would I feel about my poor, pitiful, youthful, virgin 14 year old? I would be much more pissed at her than the guys and wouldn't be blaming them for corrupting her poor innocent mind. Of course I am just making up a totally unrelated scenario.

not to make a big deal about the logistics of it for purposes of this thread but I think its pretty right on..

A. Oral sexual battery is the intentional engaging in any of the following acts with another person, who is not the spouse of the offender when the other person has not yet attained fifteen years of age and is at least three years younger than the offender:

(2) The touching of the anus or genitals of the offender by the victim using the mouth or tongue of the victim.

What would it be then? I'm not a lawyer, but reading the statute it appeared consent/force wasn't an issue for battery, just the age difference and the act.

i may have mispoken. i am thinking of the part of the statute without age restrictions. i forgot this may be one of those bullshite crimes that makes a non-criminal act a crime based on age
