He is 18 and she is 14, so in the eyes of the law, nothing else matters. That's the law and he can be prosecuted for it.
If she was a willing participant, then expect a plea deal. No judge wants to put a guy in jail for 10 years and on the sexual offenders list for life for getting a BJ from another girl in his high school who wanted to give it to him. In this case, all three of them are guilty of being stupid by doing at school, which also qualifies all three of them for expulsion from school. A young girl at this age would definitely lie to protect her reputation with her peers, to keep her parents from knowing she willing gave the boys a BJ, and to avoid an expulsion from school.
On the other hand, if she's telling the truth and Hill and his buddy forced her and it was rape, then Hill and his buddy are looking at jail time and sexual offender's list IMO. If they video taped a rape and showed it to others, then Hill and his buddy are going down in a big way.
Clearly, we have no idea what actually happened in the locker room, so all is speculation. But, in either case, consequences of his actions will most definitely have his scholarship offer revoked by LSU and he will have to accept the consequences of being stupid and/or rape. Hopefully, the truth will come out in the investigation, and everyone gets the consequence/justice that fits their actions.

I can give you SEVERAL examples of players that F-up their lives and they were in the professional sports.

Probably one of the DUMBEST things I have read on these boards, and that is an accomplishment.
As the father of a 16 year-old daughter, the difference from 14-17 is HUGE. Never mind the legal implications of 17, but the emotional/ maturity issues are great. It's illegal and not remotely close to the same thing as sex with a 22-23 year-old.

Yes its wrong, 14 is too young, but given the nature of teenagers today and the fact they are in school together I'd hope everyone involved is disciplined in accordance to actual events and not because of race.
But as stated earlier 18 yr olds are still kids in my opinion and should be treated as such if there was no force/violence involved here.
This doesnt look like predators combing the schools for victims.

what does it matter if he was a white qb or a pacific islander towel boy. If it was your niece or your little cousin or your daughter you wouldnt care either. You would just be pissed. Quit making it racial that does nothing but set back the discussion and is counter effective. Give it up please!!! The kid was wrong for what he did and will have to pay the price. Not only was he wrong but he is an idiot for video taping it and thats shows me he isnt bright either so sorry Mr. Hill best of luck to you, we dont need you!!!

First of all the so called" dads' on here need to be realistic. I have two girls 15 and 18. Get off your high horse concerning Morality. Like some of the guys on here are stating is that this is more common among today's youths than what it used to be during our teenage days. Today' girl train of thoughts are that giving BJ's is not as bad as having sex with someone. Yes, I know its really a very naive world these girls live in but its the truth. Teenager's in todays world have "sex" and sex related topics throw at them all the time on your TV at home. T.V and Todays Music make sex sound like its no big deal and even funny.

I went to Catholic High way back in the early 1980's and we have sex with St joe's girls all the time. Basically any weekend we wanted to. Most of these girls were from very upscale family's and whose parents would have Moved from Baton rouge it they knew what they daughter were doing on the weekends. Now that was way back in the early 1980s. You can imagine what goes on now.
Also, If it was not videod and it goes to court and the defendents bring along about 15-20 people to back up their testimony about this young girls past relations, the parents will probably drop the case to avoid the embarrasment of their daughter.
What the 2 boys did were stupid and deserve some punishment, but if this girl was a will particpant then the punishement should be to a lesser extent. Now the judge may go straight by the book and give these boys some serious jailtime.

Having sex (even though former Pres. Clinton wouldn't define it as such) with a 14 year old consentual or not IS a crime. Now let the judge decide the punishment if he found guilty. Remember innocent till PROVEN guilty. Let the justice system play itself out. But I'd have a problem giving a scholarship to a young man regardless of race, position, ranking, etc. if this indeed did happen.

i think it's funny that some of you don't believe that race still plays a role in the sociological landscape these days.
Am i racist? Absolutely not.
But to believe that preferential treatment/affirmative action doesn't play a roll in many decisions of today is just plain naive. Or you are lying to yourself. Racism is still very much a problem.

I haven't followed this thread since it goes back to the Cenozoic period, but I will say this. I have one son who is thirty-two. I worked in a public school system for years, and girls and boys do MUCH, MUCH more than this. All of this is beside the point.
