Well, if he leaves, Beckwith could be his replacement. I always thought he'd end up on dline anyway.

Beckwith may be a good player but we need herron. Coaches know that and so does herron

We are talking about emotional 18 year old with guys telling them anything they can to flip them. Texas d sucked this year and their de oakafor is going to be maybe a first round pick. I don't know the rest of the depth chart but if I was Mack I'd tell the kid anything he wanted to hear. I just hope Herron sees through it and sticks with the lsu and our better defensive coaching and ability to put de in the league.

Yeah we put two in the league this year. They are putting one guy in at a equal level. I know own our chart we also have some guys that were highly rated a few years ago like Rasco. I don't know uts chart at all.

+1

Plus, I think RK is DT. Herron is either DT or DE. And there are 2 of each of those spots. Then you factor in the rotation that happens.

If anything, you would want to play with other good players (talking about Herron and RK). They help each other, not hurt.

That would be how I would think of it as a recruit, at least.

Yeah, saw that. So due to his size and the fact that he has seen some time there by other coaches, makes it a ligit possibility for what I said before.

Again, I woud think this would be positive for Herron and RK.

You don't want to be the only good DL on your team - you just get doubled and tripled. Then you are lost for your career (or at least it probably feels that way.)

Herron is a must keep, i just dont see him committing to them today after only being there 24 hours. Guys that flip wait until nsd and keep it very quiet, like torshiro last year. They want to avoid the coaches bombing them with pressure.

I hear you.

He has been tweeting and retweeting all the defensive (and more like DL) recruits and they are all in the same tweet sometimes. Not that that means it all, but he seems to already be bonding with the other incoming guys.

Hope all is well and Herron is there on NSD.

He just said good morning to a family member (cause last name is Herron).

But that last massive tweet (with all the incoming defensive guys - Beckwith, Lacoutore, Bain, Gilmore) was a few days ago.

So does anyone see Texas losing 5 star DT Robinson and Herron's visit the same weekend a little too coincidental?

I do but who knows. Their is the porter connection that the kid knew porter for a long time, then there is the fact the kid did not visit any other schools yet, then there is the secret recruiting trip to Austin, but last.y you have the coach saying the kid is 100% to lsu.

So either Herron wanted the free trip just to have some fun and check out ut while he could, or there has been something happen with lsu that the kid soured on and found somewhere else.

I just hope that if the kid did flip for some reason that they announce it today and Mack brown doesn't pull the same signing day surprise shite he did last year.

It would make absolutely no sense for him to flip to Texas especially since looking at our DL depth or lack thereof.

I hope he stays and sees through the ut bs. So this kid may play dt in college? If so ut is freaking out because they are not signing any dt so far because of guys decommiting.

If I was a dt, all I would have to look at is how this past season ut dt didn't do shite because of their screwed up defensive system. Sure they have playing time but it would not be a good choice.

Come on big Frank, lsu has better d line coaching and is where you need to be.
