Moneyg, my source is a well-connected UT alum...he wouldn't purposely feed me bad info.
As of yesterday afternoon, he knew info about Herron...who knows what is really going on..
Is it entirely possible that an LSU commit would flip in the last week to UT? Of course. Who knows, he may flip multiple times and still end up at LSU. Who freaking knows. But it isn't good that he visited on the weekend before signing day unbeknownst to most LSU followers.

This is why I got worried.. Chicken comes to the board and says dude committed to ut over the weekend. I start thinking a secret recruiting visit may not be a good thing and ut does have a lot to offer since Mack is desperate because they have not signed a dt this year and just lost a 5 star dt. Then I think Mack brown did this same shite to lsu last year with a secret recruit who may have known for a while he wasn't going to lsu but was playing the game so lsu loses a spot last year.
So I may have been mega trolled by Chicken but I can see a possibility of losing a very good recruit who may not have been feeling the love since lsu is freaking out about a guy who is going to Ole Miss.
I think the best spot for Herron is dline U LSU! I just hope big Frank sees through whatever crap Mack Brown said as a desperate old man trying anything. I just hope chicken was wrong and The kid can see that people at Lsu do want him and this is the right school for him.

Like I said before, if he really has a press conference on Tues. then chances are really good he is flipping. If that is B.S. we are probably fine. Not a huge deal, our class is still awesome

If u r going to say that, nkemdiche did the same to ole miss. Cancelled his visit to lsu then left late to head here and apparently didn't tell anyone at ole piss. So is he a lock for lsu now? Lets wait till nsd.

Is it good that 247 has a thread called 'Texas FLIPPED Herron'...might I emphasize the past tense in this thread. I don't have a subscription but saw something about Texas selling him on the Big 12's ability to better showcase a DEs pass rushing ability?
