They are claiming to have 29 spots. I’ve always heard 28. They’ve got 24 signed total with 15 enrolled. Not sure where this extra scholarship came fro

We have to do whatever it takes next year to land the big 3 in our state Guillory, Roy and Cam Jackson. The big fight is going to be for McKinnley Jackson between LSU and Bama but we have to win that battle. Jackson could step in and start immediately as a freshman. He’s an absolute freak.

Yeah, we need those guys...already have two of them committed, but I think Cam will be an OT. Roy looks like a world-beater...should be very highly rated at this time next year...should be. And Guillory looks like the ideal NT for us.

Not sure about McKinnely, but it wouldn't surprise me to see his recruitment play out similarly to Pickering's in this cycle.

I think Branard Wright out of TX is the other major DE prospect we're looking to land.

Saban will find a way crooked or not in getting as many guys to sign with him to avoid them coming here

It's pretty simple actually. He'll sign 30, and then dare the NCAA/SEC to come out publicly and tell 2 kids "sorry, we're crushing your dreams, you can't play college football after you were told you could". Anybody think that's gonna happen?

Everybody hates Nick, but he's one the few that figured out that the NCAA is basically toothless in enforcement, and you might as well just do want you want as long as you don't cross some big moral lines publicly (prostitutes, drugs, etc.)

We can’t bring that type of positivity to the recruiting board....

I assume he's referring to Sam Speigleman changing his "Futurecast" prediction back to LSU.

Yeah Barnard Wright is from Dallas Carter High. We seem to have a very strong presence at that school. I believe Jarell Cherry is from there. We need to take at minimum 4 DL guys next cycle and probably closer to 6.

I'm sure each of them is told they see HIM as the future of the position at the program and the others are just there for depth. What's amazing is how many fall for it.

I'm sure they are told the truth: if they have NFL talent they will play a lot, if not they won't. Do you think Ron Brooks was stupid for choosing LSU? It was the same dynamic, and it has been the same for all the DBs who have come here. LSU has been the toughest place for a DB to get on the field until just recently. Were they all idiots?

For the life of me, how can they never be investigated for this shady shite? Don't worry guys I know that answer, LOL...

Investigated for having walk-ons? That would be a short investigation. Next we could investigate them for having an athletic dorm.

Look, they might be cheating, but everything they do isn't cheating. If LSU had only signed 22 last year, and had not used those scholarships on anyone else, we would be able to sign 28 just like Bama. The 30 number you are hearing is baloney; it's 28. Like LSU, Bama will have some free agents, but that doesn't count toward the 28.

I guess the rules can become very cloudy but I thought if a player was recruited and had a visit to the school he would have to count against the scholarship total, even if he decides to “walk on”
