It's such a difficult position to project, and I had my share of doubts, but hell, if you miss out on your top 5 targets, then make the offer. He has the talent, he would be a national recruit if he were a few inches taller.

This is what every recruit says right up until they flip. It's definitely not looking like it's going to happen, but I wouldn't point to this as the statement that solidifies his fate.

I've been saying this in all the Haskins threads. All he ever says is he's firm to Maryland and that he's just looking around to make sure they're right for him. He never sounds like he's seriously considering leaving...
