Yeah, some poster acted like that money earmarked for Underwood wouldn't be spread around because that is not how it works. You and the poster he was arguing with of course are spot on. That is exactly how NIL works. LSU didn't pay Underwood a cent. So that $6 million over 3 or 4 years is now "freed up" to throw at other prospects.

Do not take this as truth it’s strictly rumor That BK has lost the locker room pretty much.
Xavier Atkins decided to post a story publicly to his Snapchat about the culture being bad and was immediately taken down
It appears that BK is doing the full CEO approach and letting position coaches handle everything and just being an overseeing eye
The kids aren’t taking well to getting yelled at during games and such which to me is coaching. But that goes along with losing to me.
They’re just saying he’s out of touch with the kids.

Yeah that money didn’t just vanish. Now it’s up to those who were willing to donate for Bryce to agree to spread that money around .
LSU needs more all around talent. Bryce was going to mask the issues surrounding the team such as Jayden did.
But if they can get it together and make the collective sum of pieces better it could work out.

I got downvoted for saying Kade was seriously considering Texas. Message from a Texas guy. He didn’t like the way Kelly was yelling at players. Ultimately I think it all comes down to money. It’s a shame we aren’t in a better position.

Walter Nolen and Princely Umanmielen have done wonders for Ole Piss defensive line.
I really good that this breaks BK’s spirit and ignites a fire in him but with all that money on his contract I just don’t know.
We all know that he came down here to win a championship, but this is his last stop, but I start to get the feeling that he’s in over his head and just thought he could come down here and was smart smarter than every other coach, but with the portal, it’s just changed so many things that we have to get elite talent.

To me this reeks of lack of motivation and a hunger to win. I’d add the 60+ years old and a security blanket knowing he is getting paid regardless . Bad combo. I’m all for delegating authority but you have to lead! Seems we are a rudderless ship at the moment.

I agree 100%. First off, I wish Underwood had stuck with LSU. Having said that, let's glance at the top 10 overall players in the last 2 years out of HS who are QBs shall we. I have seen all of them play except D Moore. Lagway #3 overall, Raiola #7, Iamalcova #2, D Moore #4, Arnold #10. All of them except maybe Arnold are above average...Arnold can't even keep his starting job at OU and he was 2023 class. Anyone who bets the farm on an unproven college QB just because he is hyped out of HS is out of touch with reality. I would MUCH rather have a proven college QB out of the transfer portal than a totally unproven HS QB. Personally, I would rather have both. LSU backups this year are 5 for 5 in passing which of course proves nothing, but neither does being a stud in HS. BTW, is Walker Howard still on the side of that milk carton?

I saw On3 guy that reports NIL say that Lagway gets 1.7 a year
