He’s a stud and yes, would love for him to select LSU. But isn’t Jacoby Mathews a very similar player?

Not really. Jacoby is more versatile, Perkins is a true OLB and will fill out nicely at the next level. Perkins is ELITE

Give me all the hybrids. I want LSU to have its own version of Owusu-Koromoa, especially with what i've heard about Daronte's scheme. If we could have 2, even better. This kid and Jacoby Matthews on the same field would be an almost unfair level of flexibility. I want all the flexibility.

For some reason, I have a good feeling about this kid. The fact that he’s from Nola bodes well, but a strong season could really increase our chances.

Come on when was the last time A&M put an LB in the league? If your dream is the NFL then do the smart thing and join a team that puts you there.

Lets face it. Anybody with a LB by their name is going to at least see the product on the field before getting cozy with us. This is the legacy Pelini left us with.
I am sure there are some true "dream school" guys who will likely come here regardless but the top dogs are gonna want to sniff our behind for a while.
