Sheesh. A$M is going to start cherry picking these Elite guys for years to come. You guys can say they’ll go 8-4 all you want but you don’t bring in this kind of talent and not be good. Their NIL bag is DEEP.

Only if they win. Money only takes you so far if you aren’t putting rings on fingers. That’s why I expect Bama to out-recruit them next year and others like LSU and OSU to get back into the race. Given the option of taking similar money from a school that never wins big and others who do, where are you going?
Jimbo has pushed all his chips in and he has 3 years to win a title. If he doesn’t, do you really think he will keep his job after all the money that’s been laid out?

True. But I’m sure their class for next year will be insane as well. look they’ve already beat Bama. You add these studs for 22 on top of another insane class and A$M will be in the SECCG very soon. I don’t see it. Jimbo ain’t stupid. Pretty sure McKinley Jackson started day one. These guys albeit freshman are frankly more talented than they guys on their roster. He’ll keep em happy. I mean hell I wouldn’t mind playing limited minutes my freshman year if you put 600k in my bank account.

I don’t think it will, mostly because they will have a target on their backs in every respect. Everyone else will up their money game and if they don’t take a step forward on the field, it will be open season.
I’m not saying their class will suck, but it won’t be at this level with all of the other top programs paying at similar levels and coming at them from all sides.
As for Les Miles, his name is the one that comes to my mind when I think about Jimbo and his stubborn refusal to alter his offense in any way, shape, or form.

You are totally missing my point. I’m not saying don’t pay and just claim you can deliver titles. I’m saying that if the money is equal or close, then the better program with real skins on the wall will usually win out. The money is going to equal out, one way or another. You can bet on that.
