It takes more than one class but they definitely have a great class. It will even itself out when the other big boys start to spend more money to match A&M. It's actually pretty funny how scared the Ags are of the spending in Austin. They point fingers at the Horns and are in disbelief that they are paying kids.

It's going to cost boosters $10 million + next year to win the recruiting championship.

You say that, but the majority of our fan base does not want to spend money to keep up with them, for some odd reason.

Just like Kirby, right? It still takes coaching when you get to the big games, and Jimbo isn’t on Saban’s level, any more than Kirby is.

Jimbo has done it with less, and Kirby is playing for a Natty next week. Your argument is invalid.

You’re banking on the fact that A&M will suddenly become elite in the coaching department and is able to keep all of these guys happy. If for some reason that happens, they might have a shot. I just know A&M’s history in football and it isn’t pretty. Their own fans have a running joke about how unlucky they are.

Not due to Jimbo, but due to NIL $$$. Best roster money can buy....

Just like Kirby at Georgia.

The moment he arrived they started competing with Alabama on the recruiting trail. They've been the top two teams in recruiting for years.

And what do you know, they're both playing each other for a title. Again.

Talent matters. Recruiting rankings matter. If A&M keeps recruiting like this in 2023 and beyond they'll be winning 10+ games a year and making regular trips to the playoffs.

You do realize that year is it for Jimbo, right? If he doesn’t win a title by that year after this class, the NIL money will shift to being used for his buyout. He won’t survive without a title after this class.

I would put my house on Jimbo fricking this up without a single reservation. Unless he updates his offense (and we all know he won’t), he isn’t even winning the West, much less making the playoffs.

It'll be interesting to see how many of those kids make it to Jr year at A&M.

Portal (as is) will be tough maneuvering with Jimbo's penchant for underachieving

Which means they won't meet their potential

Jimbo hasn’t done shite since 2013, and if you haven’t noticed, the game has changed a little bit since then.

Kirby was favored by double digits in the SECCG and had more overall talent, especially on defense. Did you sleep through that one? The title game will be more of the same.

A&M isn’t going to be any different, except they have to go through Bama every year just to win the division. I hope they enjoyed their fluke win this year, because Jimbo will never beat Bama when it matters.

I don’t like A&M, definitely don’t want them to be dominant. Just saying, LSU better start playing ball and not act like we are too good to pay.

How do you figure that? Kirby has been recruiting on par with Bama since getting to Athens, yet he’s only made the playoffs twice and he’s never beaten Bama, even when favored.

A&M has to go through Bama every season just to win their division. Until/unless the playoffs expand, Jimbo isn’t getting there. His best shot was the fricked up COVID season and he didn’t get it done.

If you are basing your comments on our recruiting during a coaching transition, then I don’t know what to tell you. Nothing that is happening right now is guaranteed to apply to the future. We will know how the new staff will work with NIL next year.

If you don’t like the current situation, talk to your state representatives and senators. The NIL law they passed is more restrictive than some other states. It specifically prevents anyone with the university or any boosters from being directly involved in lining up NIL deals for players.

Woodward and Kelly will have to figure out how to work around the handcuffs, but they are definitely at a disadvantage compared to some other SEC programs.

That may happen, but with a locker room where half of the players act like Antonio Brown, it will be a shite show to watch. When the players think they are above the coaches it will not put a winning product on the field. A&M might be able to buy talent, but they can't buy high character and morals. Talent on the field stands out more when they also have character and discipline to prepare themselves to play the game.

Once Baker left, it guaranteed Perkins to Aggy, even when Baker was here Perkins was a longshot but Baker was the only reason we even had a shot.

Or we saw how Jimbo fared with all those high rated classes after his Bowden built championship at FSU.

And we’ve seen how booster money has really built Texas into a stable program.

A&M will be a cautionary tale sooner than it will be a championship program.
