Dworacyzk is a big question mark at LT, but I'm thinking he makes the move now with this happening

This sounds like a terrible idea to me.

Maybe, but he has the athleticism. Starting a redshirt freshman doesn't sound like a great idea either.

I'm not exactly enamored with either option. I'm just praying to Jesus that Faulk can pull a Ciron out of his hat.

Well, Ciron struggled against quality rushers as a redshirt, so that's not a slamdunk option either. It was part of the problem against Florida.

Well what's the f'ing deal with Ainsworth? Everytime I've asked about him nobody has any idea. Is the kid just giving up football or is he planning on going somewhere to play next year or what?

Word was he was terrible at fall camp, and the coaches made him cry so he quit. Yes I am serious. They told him he could re-join as a walkon next spring but I don't expect him to be back after that incident.

As far as Hardrick, most of us didn't see it coming. It does suck but I would rather it a risky JUCO guy than a top flight senior OL.

I'm guessing that without Hardrick it would be something like:

LT: SR. Josheph Barksdale
LG: JR. Josh Dworacyzk
C: JR. T-Bob Hebert
RG: JR. Will Blackwell or SO. Alex Hurst
RT: FR. Chris Faulk

2011...
LT: FR. La'El Collins or FR. Stavion Lowe
LG: SR. Josh Dworacyzk
C: SR. T-Bob Hebert
RG: SR. Will Blackwell or JR. Alex Hurst
RT: SO. Chris Faulk

2012...
LT: SO. La'El Collins
LG: SR. Clay Spencer
C: SO. Cameron Fordham
RG: SR. Alex Hurst
RT: JR. Chris Faulk

We also have Greg Shaw, Matt Branch, Cordian Hagans and Josh Williford.

I don't know, I'm just tired of seeing these players not stick to their commitments. That should say a lot about his character ala Ryan Perrilloux and Janzen Jackson

Our coaches have pulled offers from some players that have committed in the last few years. What does that say about the character of the staff? Are you equally as tired of that?

Well if Chris Faulk performs like Ciron did his first year in action, I'll be content.

Damn. Never heard it was performance based. I always heard it was some emotional breakdown following his father's death.

You don't have Lonergan playing, ever?

JUCOs suck, not a big loss.

Rather groom an inhouse guy that can play more than 2 years

I don't to be honest. Think the job's Faulk's or Shaw's in all likelihood. Never big on JUCO's.

Hopefully Faulk's. I like the 4 year starter trend.

As far as JUCO's go, sometimes they bust and sometimes they boom - DT from a few years ago (i'm usually spot on with names but this is escaping me right now).

Wroten, and he was one of the very few. D Byrd for one year was good.

most JUCO's I've followed have been disappointments

Yeah, JUCO's usually aren't great. Oh well, I liked him for depth purposes if nothing else.

it was his grandfather, who had passed away a couple weeks before. That was the reason given out, but the reason he quit was pretty much what was described above.

To be sure, though, whatever Stud has been doing hasn't worked.
