There was some speculation. Personally I didn't believe it but know we know it to be true. I wonder what this means for the number of players we take in this class though? The number I've seen thrown around is 28, but now I'm thinking it might be more like 25-26.

Honestly, if you are a good, not great, cornerback, why would you even consider LSU? We already had young DBs start last year and have three more studs this season. Add Paris, Ramirez, Brown, etc. this year. Tolliver and Co next season. Goodness! No wonder Hardeman wasn't comfortable.

Well the worst of it is that we lose a recruiter and nickel corner. The best of it is that we gain an extra spot which means we my not have to grey shirt anybody.

I loved it when they asked Tony Brown about Texas calling themselves DBU at the Opening and you could tell he got pissed off.
He said only a few schools could claim that and then was asked to list them. He could only come up with LSU and then stopped.

Timing of this is interesting with the brown sister deal and him visiting bama twice in 2 weeks. Throw in santos committing but not committing as well.
A lot of guys say they don't care about numbers but we were getting a lot of db's.
