Handicapping Malachi Dupre

My latest take-
There are 4 dogs in the race- LSU, Bama, FSU, UCLA. I think Bama and FSU somewhat negate each other. Both very strong football programs, but they cannot build a substantial enough case that they are any better in history, facilities, coaching, location, than LSU. Moreover, Dupre has been to LSU six times and has a close affinity with the coaches, players, and commits. He has an inhome today with Coach Miles. The question remains, does Dupre want to go out of state? If so, then the 'dark horse' so to speak is UCLA. He went out to UCLA in February, on his own dime, for their Junior Day. He returned in April (on his own dime) for the Spring game. He went back in June (on his own dime) for the B2G Elite Camp. UCLA coaches came out to his game in September. He also has an inhome with Mora today, and maybe most importantly, has his last visit to UCLA on Jan 31. That visit, as mentioned before, will be with KY and McGraw, who also have UCLA high to leader.
A lot may be known after his big site visit to LSU this weekend. The prevailing sentiment is that he will ultimately choose LSU….but very, very close.

Your handicap might not be the same as Chi's handicap. The handicap is from your point of view.
Nice try though.

Dude. Come on. FSU can't build a case at being better than LSU at any of those, I agree. Bama does have better tradition, currently a better program, and their facilities are supposedly strong. Many LSU fans would say they have better coaching. I don't think Bama can boast of a better location than LSU.

I ultimately think he ends up at LSU, but if he goes anywhere else it's FSU imo.

Lsu does not have better facilities than bama. You are fricking crazy if you think so. Bryant Denny is impressive and puts dv to shame. Tallahassee is baton rouge, but here's the kicker, it is in Florida.

He has a lot of opportunity at LSU. All of the receivers except Dural are untested and unproven. He seems to be an intelligent young man and might earn a starting job early in the season.

What about Bryant Denny is better? Definitely not game day atmosphere. Have you ever been to Tallahassee? The city is a total dump and they fill up the stadium maybe once a year.

Have you been since they upgraded BDS? It's easily the nicest stadium I've been in except for JerryWorld and it's close to that too. Hopefully we are creating something similar.
