Could an early entry Kiel or Collins play in the Jan. 9th game? When does spring semester start? Could Kiel get a play in the Bowl game?
If you really don't know the answer to that, you should never post here again

Could be the DUMBEST thing I have ever seen on TD and that is saying something
That assertion itself could perhaps be the dumbest thing said. Please state your case. Why is it a dumb question to ask? Surely they would not likely be prepared to play but is it not reasonable to ask if they are elligible? What if they were a JUCO transfer? If they transferred between colleges mid-semester. Just because you are omniscient doesn't mean that the reasonable questions of other's should be maligned, does it? Maybe I'm just dumb.

I find it interesting that when he was interviewed back in April about learning his position, he mentions his dad and brothers, but not his uncle.
That is weird, especially considering his uncle is a private QB coach.

Distance seems to be a big thing with this guy...one reason he picked Indiana first.

The other 25% of us will just keep asking stupid questions about eligibility. Grace is appreciated...

Seriously? Get off your high horse buddy. I am absolutely amazed by your incredible vocabulary, but your argument is seriously flawed. These "What if" statements that you have supplied us with have no bearing on the argument because they obviously do not apply to this situation.

Why is that so obvious to you, oh lowly one? I would assert (although I do not know for a fact although I have spent some time attempting to research rather than just pop my mouth off as... never mind) that if the game were played after the date class begins one could reasonably conjecture that the student may at least be eligible to dress out as a team member. Then again, that is just a hypothesis on my part, not empirical fact...

whoa Vandy has a message board?
perhaps even more shocking is that they seem to care about recruiting....

I wonder if it might be concern because didn't his uncle play for ND. I am not sure on all the recruiting rules with non-imediate family members. Could be something as simple as not raising questions. Who knows.

I swear we better not lose him to Vanderbilt.

Kiel to pick ND

Your post is very misleading. He's just projecting he's going to sign there. He has no source or new information regarding what Kiel is planning on doing. You should edit your post to reflect that.

I agree that the writers statement that Kiel has
is not properly sourced, and I did attempt without success to contact the author to seek further clarification or color. However I fundamentally disagree and take exception to your characterization of my post as misleading. A careful reading of the article would clearly indicate that the writer is not making a projection as you have characterized it. Rather he is making a prediction which could fairly be described as his "pick".
I stand by my initial post but appreciate your efforts to improve upon the quality of my writings. I will ever endeavour to be succinct and explicit so that the reader can properly discern my writings.

False. "Pick" characterizes it as the decision has been made already. "Prediction" is no more than a shot in the dark on the authors feelings, nothing more. Which in turn makes your choice of wording poor to say the least while if we wanted to speak in absolutes would make your wording dead wrong.
