Two reasons. One is I truly don't care if you agree with me. The second is I'm on an iPhone.

Headed out of town tomorrow. Thank God for wireless service in hotels. Don't want to miss this.

Wish we could keep it in one of these threads but I know someone will start a new one. Hopefully we can get Prominentwon to change the subject to the actual commitment. It might end up being the longest commitment thread ever.

Feeling elation over a Keil commitment during Christmas this year would make up for the way I felt during Christmas of 2005.

Well you can't blame your iPhone for you not being able to comprehend these two posts:

a better question would be... if gunner went on FB and said "I've committed to LSU!!" then Les gets on his FB account and likes GK's status during the dead period. IS THAT LEGAL?!?!

Only illegal if Chavis likes it first.

Dude, have you ever attempted to read a good amount of the rulebook? It's insanely long, almost impossible to decipher, and is full of contradictions. I don't doubt that you linked a section regarding the dead period. I do doubt it is the only reference to the rules of the dead period in the encyclopedia aka the NCAA code book.

Why do you care what I think anyways?

Yes.

It is long and it is byzantine, but it is not impossible to decipher. Of course something that long and complex may have contradictions, but I can't point to a single one and I doubt you can either. The dead period is a clearly defined concept. Don't make shite up to cover up your ignorance.

Well, you're the one who insists I am wrong without offering any contrary supporting evidence. 2nd, I'm fascinated by how someone can be so ignorant and arrogant at the same time.

Hey, hey.

This thread is about Gunner Kiel committing, er, possibly committing, or possibly thinking about committing, or maybe leaking something regarding his commitment, or something along the lines of the word commitment and football, and maybe LSU is tied to that.

So, let's keep on track here, people.

I told you 3 posts ago that I got my opinion from the local radio recruiting guy. You probably don't catch it in Indiana. Maybe you listen online?

I haven't kept up with the thread much today, is someone trying to say coaches can't call recruit during the dead period?

Thats always fun. The rules are cut and dry if you take 3 minutes to look them up. Most of the time people complain about our staff not making calls when calls aren't allowed, and assume they can't make calls during periods when they are allowed.

From first glance, doesn't look very reliable.
