6’9 PF out of Austin. Although currently it looks like he’ll stay in state, maybe a deep run in March could give him something to think about.

Dude is a fricking beast.

Why does it seem like everyone we sign is a Forward?

Do they have true centers in today's game of basketball?

It's like every team is a team of 2 forwards and three guards or 3 forwards and two guards.

Exactly. A deep run I the tourney can easily change his mind. Especially him knowing naz is gone, he can come in and start day 1 and be the guy

I guess you're right, but the 6'9" height is what most seem to be listed as.

His wingspan is a lot longer
May end up closer to 6-10.

He has been pretty quiet overall in terms of recruitment.
Texas probably has the edge because the kid patterns his game after KD.
But who knows come October.

i’d say it’s probably more of the fact that he’s from austin. also shaka smart is a pretty good recruiter. don’t understand how texas basketball always underachieves

6-9 is plenty tall enough for a college center. Depending on wingspan and jumping ability, 6-7 could be.

This is what happens when you start winning.

Wade did what was necessary to get some real players now he’s going to have a huge advantage with this type of season.

My guess from paying attention to the program is coaches don’t get to coach. Politics. Boosters. Shaka is a hell of coach & it blows my mind that he can’t win there. Texas runs deep with talen in HS basketball especially in the DFW. For some reason they don’t steer towards UT.

Oh my goodness, mercy sakes alive, we got us a convoy!!! If Wade can get this dude along with N'Faly, there's no telling how good they can be. We see what Will can do with a team. We see how he can mold and make a team. But, if this dude's personality and character don't fit, Will is gonna pass. A team is more than individual talent. These guys on this LSU team are tight, they have a genuine love and care for each other, like a family, like brothers.

I'm no fan of Shaka. But....

Dude got to the Final Four in his 2nd season. Then he also got to the tourney every year except his first. His team usually didn't do well after people got accustomed to his pressing scheme...but it's still impressive.

on top of that, it was a VCU team that had 12 losses during the regular season and had an extra play in game in the tournament. pretty insane

Texas should be good next year with Matt Coleman and Courtney Ramey.
Both those guards are perfect for that system

His Game after KD

NO Effing Way... what are you talking about
KD was a Jump Shooter, and NEVER PLAYED AROUND THE RIM

This guy is ANGRY and PHYSICAL, sort Jose Vargas (oh yes) but with actual basketball skills Jump Shot/Dribbling...

I'd like to see more Highlights (against different competition)
