At first glance I thought flott was a little thin. But then I went back and looked at Greedy out of HS. Same measurable, and both 3 stars. Here's to Flott being the next Greedy!

Depends on what you go by...Rivals had him a 3 star. I think his point still stands. He wasn't one of the other 5 star CBs we had.

I don’t know anything about Flott but the only reason Greedy was ranked so low was because of his frame. He dominated HS and camps, he was just really skinny

I never worry about guys that Raymond recruits. He obviously sees something special in the kid.

Flott's offer list is stacked with offers from the best of the best. It looks like 247 and other recruiting services are the only ones behind on evaluations of this kid.

This X1000

These complaints about certain DB recruits comes up if not every year, every other year, his record speaks for itself with developing guys. Recruits, current players, and former players have all said they are blessed because he is without a doubt the best in the business at specifically CBs. There is a reason simply getting an offer as a DB from LSU is the goal of every recruit.

I've seen Flott play and there is potential there, but to compare to Greedy it's not even close. Flott is very athletic, but still has a lot to learn before he steps on the field for LSU. Like I said, lots of potential, but lots to learn about moving his feet and hips before he gets a shot on the field.

Hope Flott is not as selfish as Greedy and gives it his all in every game (Including bowl games no matter how big they are or how much he has to lose)!

Eh, just hope that Flott doesn’t have a kid, and wants to provide for his family. Some of you people are miserable bashing him for this. Have you seen the amount of players not playing in bowl games this year? This year has probably been the most of any year, and it’s tredning in that direction. Who gives a flying frick. He doesn’t need to please y’all people and yalls impossible standards. Be thankful he chose LSU, and came here for three years of his life, and dominated for two. Does this decision mean he thinks any less of LSU? Not at all, so why should we think less of him? By the way to everyone who hates on Greedy, call me, when you just turn 21, have a daughter, have been in college for three years, are regarded as the #1 overall cornerback prospect in the entire country and projected to be a top 5 pick in the draft. Call me when you’re in that same situation and then if you choose to stay at LSU, well then maybe you can actually speak about the matter!

It's ridiculous to even say that he shouldn't consider what he has to lose if injured. I wish he would play too. But this young man has a child, whom he can't support at this time. What measures what you take in providing for your children? There were rumors of Fulton leaving early. Our offense puts our defense in bad situations. Fulton is out because of our inability to put points up on Arkansas. We lost Chassion because of our inability to put Miami away.

X2 Bosa had a early season injury and just called it a day, not even attempting to play at any point after. The guy has a lot to lose. That being said, DEVIN WHITE IS THE MAN!!!

Your whole post is absolutely right, but I think people not getting this is part of the problem. Half of the people here just follow LSU and don't even know what's going on with SEC teams much less nationally. There are multiple players skipping bowl games and it's only going to become more common.

Personally, I don't care. He's doing what's best for him and won't be on the team next year obviously, so it's a good opportunity to get guys ready for next year.

Lol, people acting like he won’t be able to provide for his daughter if he’s injured. Plenty of people raise their kids comfortably on <100k a year in a household. The dude can tear both ACL’s and he will still be a top 2 round pick, signing a multi million dollar deal.

I’m not mad that he’s not playing, it’s his choice, but the people who sit here and act like he will lose everything and not be able to provide for his daughter if he gets hurt are even more ridiculous than the people who are mad at him for skipping the game.

If they all are doing it I guess it's ok? Screw you! They are all wrong and those decisions will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks, it's not a wise decision! If you're healthy and able, you should play! Bottom line!

Because he's showing he's not a team player, lacks respect for the coaches, love of the game, etc. Look, it's nothing personal, I just think it's the wrong decision and so do many others. Play for LSU and with your brothers for one last time and help your coaches be more successful as they have helped you throughout. The team has fought all season to get here and now you want out to protect yourself from something that probably won't even happen. There's a reason we respect Devin's decision, because it's the right one and shows character! No, he doesn't owe the fans anything so don't even bring up that crap!
