Great recruiting class!

This happens every year. Unrealistic expectations by mostly band wagon fans, who you never hear from and have never seen post. They invade this board with nothing but negativity, whining and bitching.
We have a solid class here of exceptional young men that want to wear the purple and gold.
We have put together a nucleus this year and filled needs with great recruits the staff want.
We still have room open for the next signing class and have several weeks to fill it.
LSU’s continued success on the field will open the eyes of more recruits and we will be just fine.
This exact same thing happens every single year since I joined this site.
I for one, am a very happy fan today with this recruiting class.
Down vote away if it makes your miserable life a little more bearable, I’m glad I could contribute even a small part of making you less miserable.

Well to be fair Coach O himself stated that he expected 22-23 signees today. While that could still happen, it’s not looking likely. Great class but you can’t say it’s surprising fans had such high expectations given recent success and the statement O made.

I refuse to shite on LSU and the non paper Tigers. I believe in the coaching staff,and I believe in the players. LSU has a great thing going, and I’m down with that.

I didnt expect that many. Coach O can only guess at these numbers since recruits change their minds.
Every coach in America has to go through this exact same thing.
When there is a lot of smoke concerning a recruit, then expect it to be 50/50.
Dont go by reports from media, fans, etc.
If they were solid there wouldn’t be tons of chatter.

They are just coming off a National Championship where they looked invincible.
Success does that for recruiting.

I wonder if we end with 25 this year now, but if we don't it just gives us a few more spots when we're really riding the wave we created with this season.
ETA: not to say we couldn't end with 25, but the bar has been set for the talent level we expect from here on out.
