Jeff Blake is like the opposite of Jamarcus Russell.
I was in no way comparing Blake to Russell.

Jeff Blake has the prettiest deep ball I ever saw... that's the only comparison I was making... pretty deep throws.

I doesn't "sail in", it "nose dives" in.

A 6'1" running QB compares to Jamarcus? Dude's arm is nowhere near. WTF?

That's a strange and poor comparison.

He throws the football effortlessly, much like Russell. However, their playing styles are completely different. Bohanon is smaller and likes to use his feet more than Russell. Jamarcus was such an intimidating presence in the pocket with unmatched arm talent.

He wanted to go to Arky, but they won't commit to him playing quarterback. Says he's an athlete, which he hates

Not too worried about the competition level bc he'll redshirt anyway and he's got some good tools.

It's Jeff Blake-esque

its not really the prettiest of throwing motions.. its more Vince Young/Deshaun Watkins esc.. looks more of just a better athlete than what he is playing against.. his competition looks like middle school guys... good looking athlete though... could kinda say the same thing about the joiner kid.. more of a galloper.. not a fluid runner..

I'd take him based off physical attributes alone. Can be a possible nick Fitzgerald type player and maybe we can run a true wild cat system with him

he visited last week. said he liked it. i wonder if he had a chance to talk to Mcmillan or Narcisse, our other dual threat QBs. They could probably sell him the most on our program.

As another poster just pointed out, MB didn't exactly play top notch competition either. People will twist every situation to fit what they want. If we can win games with DE, a mid-50's career completion percentage guy who's not doesn't really make plays when they break down, then we should be able to develop guys with a decent tangibles.

Bohanon should chat with Lowell Narcisse and Justin Mcmillan
