Even though perception has aided them in recruiting, I never minded watching the inflated rankings that the gumps are getting especially in the old Rivals system. If a gump talks trash, then I am quick to point out that Les is developing his lower ranked players just as well as Nicky does with their last four so called recruiting championship classes.

It goes both ways and if the tigers D continues to improve and new talent does succeed in the back seven, this will be LSU's year.

Talk about icing on the cake if LSU get this year's crystal ball AND Saban's inability to develop elite recruits starts to take hold throughout the nation.

Yep.... All this bama talk will look pretty bad if we blow them out their own stadium with all that so called elite talent and our average recruits our OL and DL are much better at the moment and getting even better as the season goes! I love how we told kent state, hey we gonna run on y'all and we put up 307 rush yards with them being well aware! Can't wait for auburn then GA

Everyone keeps discrediting a team that was closer to a BCS game than LSU last year.

Good point. They were close in quality to TCU, wish they would have had their other RB. Not incredible opponents, but not Towson either.
