I’m sorry you’re upset. I’m not going to stop criticizing this staff when this stuff happens over and over again.
Steeples is recruiting for his job.

Not really. You just choose to look at things differently.

You’re full of shite, as usual. You made one CJ Jackson post and literally everything else you’ve recently posted is overwhelmingly negative.

Fair enough. I just don’t want to hear people bitch on tRant about our defense when we’re clearly lacking talent and depth at positions of need at corner and defensive line. You can’t lose players like Evans.. And that’s even with getting Bates and McBryde to commit.
Because then you end up relying on Syracuse corners from the portal playing alongside 3* true freshman who get torched against any offense with a pulse. The recruiting and roster management has shown a direct correlation on the field. Both offense (good) and defense (bad).

I’m sorry, DBG. Am I supposed to be happy when we’re trending to lose one of our top committed CBs while our actual secondary has looked like one of the worst units in the country?

He seems to be of the opinion that Brian Kelly is responsible to personally make sure OKtiger is satisfied with recruiting

Apology not accepted. Grow some balls and celebrate success, you’ll be better for it.

That’s what he does. It’s very predictable at this point. Just ignore the troll and move on.

trending to lose

So this went from Georgia working to flip him to he's "trending" Georgia? You don't see the catastrophe syndrome here?
Have any actual picks come in for him to be an imminent flip?
I'm not saying he won't actually flip, but to say we're trending to lose him is pretty damn dramatic.

Who gave you firing authority?

You seriously need to find a different hobby. The recruitment of 17/18 year olds is obviously NOT healthy for you. It’s one thing to be critical, it’s different when 95% of your posts are just you throwing a hissy fit.

You are just making this up.
Steeples has actually recruited pretty well. I think he is a good coach. He is young and new to college but he has pretty much held his own.

Kirby about to be the new thorn in our side the way Saban was? Great.

Our secondary is completely deprived of elite talent and now we're losing a Top 100 cornerback in this class. Out of all the kids in this class, this is probably one of the last players we could afford to lose.
Landing Bussey would more than make up for losing Evans - but even if we land Miller, it still feels like that's unlikely (and is he even wanting to play CB?)
Anyone else we get to fill that slot is going to be a big step down talent wise from Evans.

Can't blame the kid for wanting to play on that defense versus LSU's
Stupid analogy
If you're really good, doesn't matter. Let's not pretend LSU don't get DB's to NFL, either.

How much NIL money have you contributed? If you want to make a difference pony up some $$$. At the end of the day 95% of these non processed decommits are about better NIL deals.

His decision must be completely about money. Georgia has two top 10 corners committed in this class and is the heavy favorite to land a third before you even get to Evans. Playing time is much more accessible here, especially early.
