are you allowed to bring in players in the portal to come in for a tryout? Could bring Jaelyn Lay and George Takas in at the same time and have a tryout, a one to one, man on man tryout. Have them race 40 yards, weight lift competition, blocking each other, going out for passes against each other, stuff like that. Then offer the winner a scholly and a little NIL money.

Both of his coordinators at ND were planning on following him to LSU until Freeman got offered the ND gig.

I think the kid would be a take, my only point was since he's a grad transfer, he might be looking for the best free Masters he can get. Let's hope not.
LSU's MBA program ranks in the 60's and BC's in the 40's for public MBA programs. Some difference, not huge.
However, coming from a descendant of a former ND offensive lineman no self respecting Irish would transfer to BC.

So for me Lay has been in portal since Early late december/early January i think. Denbrock and Kelly are TE guys, if they haven't brought Lay in yet then that's very telling. We've seen how fast we've moved on portal players when we want them so I highly doubt we want Lay. Embody reached out to lay who told him there's been no contact.

For some reason...I've seen a few people on here post that Lay just recently entered the portal. I thought that was odd, b/c I've seen him on there for a while now.
I never really saw Lay as a real target honestly.

You sure? Some of the present LSU staff have coached for him in prior years.
