That should get the ball rolling

Hope we land Caleb Williams

It has Lsu 100%
so my question is, If he commits to us, will this effect Caleb Williams decision? Personally I think Caleb's mind is elsewhere now since Brady left Lsu

So the question is if Nuss is ready to commit to us and CW isn’t ready to commit to anyone yet, what happens?

I’m excited about Nuss. I’ve always preferred pro style over dual threat and the NFL backs me up. If we get Williams I hope we get both.

Good question. I would think it makes CW a stronger Penn State lean, but elite guys believe they can beat out other existing players for starts at their position. If the coaching staff tells him “if you earn the start, you will get the start,” we’d probably still be in the picture. After all, Joe Burrow came in and beat out Brennan, the presumptive starter just two seasons ago.

Yeah, but he was mad because Georgia told him they were only taking 1 qb.
I think he wants to be the only qb.
Hopefully cw commits before nuss

Also just q feeling but if we tell nuss he can't commit and he commits elsewhere, then I see him sticking with that school

I read that too, but are there any schools he’s looking at that would only be taking one QB? It’s asking a lot of a school to only take you at your position when they have to take into account risks like injuries, etc.

I don’t think he was necessarily mad about them taking more than one QB, just that they lied to him about it. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Another reason why these kids hold a lot of weight when it comes to recruiting, Coaches cant let them make decisions based on what they demands (only 1 qb), but it still happens all the time and ends up a messy situation and either the school "processed him" are the kid "played games with staff" and causes someone to always lose out
I have a feeling CW is waiting to see how Brennan Progresses before he feels like Lsu isn't just a 1 year offensive weapon under Brady and Burrow

NFL loves dual threats:
Lamar Jackson - Dual Threat
Russell Wilson - Dual Threat
But LSU is not in the NFL. The CFP loves Dual Threats too:
Jalen Fields - Dual Threat
Joe Burrow - Dual Threat
Justin Fields - Dual Threat

Ummm 2/30 does not mean the NFL loves duel threats. It's not really even debatable that the NFL prefers pocket passers. It is not that they prefer pocket passers, its that passing is the thing they need to be best at and typically that is the pocket passers.
If you think Burrow will be a Dual Threat in the NFL you are a moron. That is like calling Aaron Rogers a Duel Threat. Mobile but not Duel Threat.

You take whichever guy commits first.

I really want the staff to focus on Williams.
Being in the running and actually landing the prized QB of a class are two totally different things. LSU hasn’t been able to land the big dog in some time. A Williams commit shows just where the program is in terms of the big stage.
Nuss I think will be a solid QB no matter where he ends up and maybe it’s LSU.
Regardless, the staff has a lot they need to get ‘right’ here in regards to how they go about the recruitment of QB’s this cycle.

I think Caleb and Garrett communicate with one another. If Garret commits to us, it probably means Caleb is going elsewhere.

Yes NFL back ups haven’t had very good stats with LSU lately .....or ever

Brady was in the perfect storm no team in collage was was ready for the Saints offense they did not have the personal to cover five receivers .
3 Wideouts , TE, RB.
Brady was a copy cat . This new guy will make you forget about Brady .
