I've never heard of Rosado until today honestly. But 15 homeruns in 15 games

Austin Nagle has the all time season record there with 17.Definitely one PM needs to keep an eye on.

I remember seeing Rosado I believe 2 years ago against Rittiner and Jesuit in the championship game. He was legit then even for a sophomore.

I believe he is a SR. Class of 2010.

Ive heard he is expected to go high in the draft but I dont have a link. Just a rumor.

He's one of the many Puerto Rican players Barbe has had over the years

Rosado is the best power hitter I've ever seen in High School. This kid has serious pop, and has hit 2 of his 15 homeruns that were approximated to have gone over 500 feet by some pretty good baseball guys in the area. Id say top 5 round lock!

Im tellin you the bomb he dropped at WM went over the fence to the football field. That fence is a good 45 yds behind the centerfield wall. Which is 400ft.

Wow, LSU could luck into 2 potential superstars in Cecchini and Ryan Eades

LSU signed the best class in the nation bar none.

Like if I were to make a graph it would look like...

#1.LSU

2.blah
3.blah
4.blah
5.blah

Players like Gausman, Bederosian, Cecchini, Jones, Lee, Ross, Broussard, Eades, and maybe even Rumbelow all have the potential to be top 10 round picks. The draft is going to be very scary to watch but a class like this I can promise you is what brings back championships. You can thank the new Alex Box for that.

Hypothetically speaking of course...If somehow Cecchini and Jones don't go pro, which one do you think would stick at short?

eta: I'm about to be done for the day.I love talking baseball, thanks for the input everybody.

Ehhhh probably Cecchini. Cecchini's more of the SS/3B prototype. Big, Strong, Fast athlete.

Jones is the more athletic SS/INF/C who doesn't have the arm of Cecchini. Very fast for his 6'3 frame (ran a 6.59).

If both made it to campus and that would be a BIG IF then...Cecchini SS and Jones 2B or Cecchini 3B and Jones SS.

Cecchini is probably more of a 3B than SS in college. Hommie Rosado will more than likely go pro because he isnt the brightest kid ever. I think he is committed to LSUE, but I could be wrong.

Dr Andrews will be operating on Garin tomorrow with 4-6 month rehab. ACL is only ligament tear. Amazing that he dh'd in game after injury and even had a stolen base. Tough luck injury that happened on a freak play to a good kid and great ballplayer. Kid is a gamer and will be back.
