Before “Les won a title”. Les had Saban players and great coordinators when he won a title. Got shut out when he made it in 11 cuz he promoted his oline coach to OC when he clearly wasn’t able to do the job and because JJ wasn’t a leader.

this.... he's doing a great job recruiting, and he's actually done better than I thought he would do as HC, but i still wouldn't put it at "amazing" quite yet... we are very much trending in the right direction, however, and O is due a lot of credit, again to my surprise, for that...

No. Les brought the team to two national championship games and won one of them.
While it was time for him to go, he still slept walked to 8 and 9 win seasons at the end.
Coach O has a chance to be an amazing coach but at this point, you can only say he’s a solid coach.
Simple fact, he needs to win the SEC or win a playoff game, then we can have a discussion about amazing.

I agree that we need to win the SEC, but that won’t determine if he is doing an amazing job right now. His incremental steps forward say that he is doing an amazing job right now. We’ll wait and see if his overall career at LSU will be.
but I still think it’s stupid to say he has to beat Bama. (Not that you’re stupid, that thought that a lot of Tiger fans have).

I agree.He is doing a good job,and consistently making adjustments.I believe he has the program trending in the right direction.It will be amazing when we beat Bama,and win the SEC.

Les also inherited Jamarcus Russell and Flynn. Orgeron had Harris and Etling.

Orgeron is doing a solid job especially recruiting. For him to do amazing, he would have to win a SEC title or get LSU to the playoff. On another level imo

Yeah, our coaching staff deserves all the credit for the way this class is shaping up. It's looking really good already, but if we can close like some people are projecting, this will be an outstanding class. We are just reloading with more studs like we usually do. I can't wait until the success on the field gives us even more momentum in recruiting. We are going to be dangerous, I can feel it lol. Geaux tigers!
