Outside of weeks brother who may or may not be good we have ZERO elite inside linebackers and ZERO elite DTs this class. Kelly and Cain have alone of work ahead of them.

We will need some portal help at multiple spots. Hard to expect freshmen to be physically ready and contribute at a high level right away. Luckily We had 4 amazing freshmen this year but need to keep adding and getting some more game-ready talent.

Getting Smith healthy will definitely help.

Yeah the portal is gonna be where to make the money this offseason with front seven guys. Most 18-19 year olds are not ready to step in year 1 in the SEC

Kelly and Cain failed at the front line this cycle.

They will have to hit the portal almost as hard as they did last cycle. Maybe just as hard depending on who transfers out. No interior D-linemen is a massive fail, but maybe they can pull something off before signing day

I like Brathwaite a lot. He reminds me of Monty Rice.

Smith is going to end up having to play out of position at Nose. I don’t think Guillory is going to cut it.

All portal spots should go to the defense and maybe 1 offensive lineman.

Fair, unless they can grab a good nose in the portal.

There are 2 inside backers committed and the cycle isn’t over yet. Calm down with the dramatics.

There are bound to be some late bloomer DTs looking to move to bigger schools

Dashawn Womack is a really good edge rusher who I think can start day one ….and be better than Ali Gaye

Maybe Matt House should change his defensive front to fit the personnel he’s got ?

Harold Perkins with a year of experience and a good off season will make a difference too

Defensive end classes**

Where tf are the defensive tackles? We gave up a combined 500 yards the last two games because we already don’t have enough depth at that position. Expecting Smith who is coming off an ACL tear to solve all of our problems next year isn’t sustainable
