Frank Wilson and what players he recruited to other schools

I think Frank is great with the kids. Love frank as a person. A lot of folks are upset hes going to OM. My question would be, which kids did he recruit and pull from La when he was at other schools? That would be the list I'm more interested in, not which kids he could get at LSU. I dont follow recruiting near as much as most of you, so maybe you guys have a better idea on that.

Great guy, terrible RB’s coach. I’ll sacrifice a player here and there who wants to go to Ole Miss with rushing production. Our rushing offense has become pathetic since Franks been here.

agree and thats my point. Since NIL, the FW of the world are becoming way less impactful. It's all about money and brand. LK + LSU is a monster in the making.

Just win and pay players. They will come.
We’ve still lost out on big recruits with frank and we’ve landed recruits with out frank.
Easton Royal will be a big target if we can get. I think improved offense will help this.
Stewart last year still went to USC
Just need to make the relationships and trust Lane to do what he’s been doing.

All that work Frank did for Stewart and he still went to USC. Why? The money!
Didn't LSU just do a first of its kind NIL deal with Nike? Get excited dudes. LSU is out front with the NIL stuff. The money moves these players now...the branding opportunity.
What do you think matters to these kids you sit in the living room with? Frank Wilson saying come to LSU? Or Nike saying these are the NIL deals we can do for you?

Probably Mike Wallace 20 years ago during Frank’s first stint at Ole Miss under Coach O. Wallace was a deep play threat on some bad Ole Miss teams, and had a nice pro career with a handful of thousand yard seasons.
Wallace was also coached by FW while at OP Walker, so there was a direct connection.

Here are some notable recruits from his time at Ole Miss: BenJarvus Green (transfer from Indiana after Gerry DiNardo was fired) (New Orleans), Kendrick Lewis (New Orleans), Mike Wallace (committed to Oregon before Wilson joined the Ole Miss staff) (New Orleans), and Marshay Green (Bastrop). I believe Ellis and Wallace were both 2-star recruits. The sample size is small, and this is all before the NIL era, but I think we'll be okay. Frank also landed Janzen Jackson while at Tennessee, and we all know how that worked out.
