I heard he has 400 yrds left to go to break the all time Louisiana rushing record for 1 season! ranked 3rd in the country with the most yards this season.
PS Most of his yards come before half time and he sits out the second half most of the time. He is going to be a BEAST!

No, your confused with Trent Richardson
Seriously though, Ford has been healthy all year right?
Big numbers for an injury prone player eh?

Nah most of the games hes played well into the fourth quarter but not to take anything away from the guy he is def a five star ... he broke Cecil Collin's single game and single season records and he is going to LSU PERIOD. Alabama wanted him bad but he bleeds purple and gold no one could change his mind. He's gonna do some good things for the tiger's

he broke his collarbone as a junior and came back and played in the playoffs the same year ... thats his only injury of note ... he doesnt shy away from contact either ... very seldom runs out of bounds on his own ... but if Leesville wins this weekend stallworth will have to get a lot of yards because they will be keying on Ford

Talked with a guy the other night, he said a coach breaking down film told him in one game Ford had 280 yds. after initial contact. I'll be at the Zachary game Friday night to see Ford play. Anyone else gonna be there?

A bunch of us are going to see the kid play on Friday night. Hope he gives us a show. Oh and we are all wearing purple and gold!

He has a ton of YAC and the thing is Cecil Collins did his running behind a decent o-line, Leesville's is decent at best ... Got some good Guards but thats about it ... Fords contact usually happens at the line of scrimmage of shortly there after...

I thought this was it as far as injuries go.

He has had only one injury ... the collarbone last season. He had a hip flexor in track his sophomore year, but that was it. He has carried the ball 302 times this season, and he gets pounded by defenses. It's his conditioning and strength that allows him to take the punishment and get stronger as the game wears on.
