success has clearly gone to his head.

Nah. He's my favorite player and I've followed him since he got drafted. He's always been pretty sarcastic and cocky.

Like when he was still backup for Favre, he talked about how frustrating it was watching all the other QBs get to play on Sunday, when he knew he was better than most of them. But he backed it up and proved it when he got the chance.

So this is what announcers talk about when a team is up 31 points at the end of a game.

The Pack's OL wasn't that bad early on; rather, Rodgers held on to the ball too long early in the season.

Rodgers was partly to blame. But a large part of it was the OL.

They had injuries and a lot of guys in and out of the lineup. But they got Tauscher back mid-way through the season. And ever since, they've had the same 5 guys start every game.

Agreed. Arizona minus Boldin is definitely the pick here even though the GB OL is swiss cheese.

Only through the first half of the season. Their OL has been solid the past couple months.

I've watched several Packers games this season and they're playing their best football right now. It would be better for the Saints to play Arizona. GB has a better offense and defense. Also, Rodgers>>>>Warner.

He's been at practice:

“I’m really impressed with freshman Josh Downs,” Alexander said. “He can help us up front, be that swing guy on tackle.”

LSU coach Les Miles has singled out Downs several times when talking about the defensive line.

“Josh Downs from Bastrop just has such a high motor,” Miles said. “He works so hard.”

Pretty sure he told Les hed be doing this and Les said OK

Yep.

“I’m still going to take some visits, but mainly just to combines and workouts so I can get prepared for my senior season,” Maclin explained. “Like I’m going to a camp next weekend and then I’m going to the Rising Stars camp later in the summer."

It will be posted on ABC's site tomorrow.

I thought that conversation was over his mom getting remarried and him changing his last name?

From what I remember, his dad is his real dad but his parents only got married a couple years ago. So Patrick & his other siblings were given their mom's maiden name (Johnson) when they were born.

Maybe his dad's last name is different?

It's Peterson. I remember that from the discussion last year over why Patrick changed his last name from Johnson to Peterson.

I cant figure out though what Chris Harrison was talkin about when he was in the Dark Room with candles at the end saying that some things were to emotional to be shown on TV. Anybody else see that? WTF was he talking about?

Supposedly, he chooses Melissa in the finale. But the oh so dramatic 'After the Final Rose' show that they teased the other night ("What you are about to witness could potentially be so dramatic....") includes him breaking up with Melissa (his fiancee) for Molly.

There's a guy (google "Reality Steve") who's been claiming this happens for awhile. But I didn't think to believe it until I saw that preview.

If this happens, it will be the end of this show.

This might be why his interest in LSU kind of went down. Now that this BS has been fixed you may see more interest similar to what he had this time last year. Pretty low to not give the kid his letters, especially from a team with multiple BCS championships.

Yeah. We were his favorite until this past season. He grew up a big LSU fan. I knew something must've happened to go from his favorite to not even in his top 3. This explains a lot. But I'm glad to hear everything's been resolved now, with signing day still a year away. More than enough time to fix things. I definitely think we'll be in the mix.

I'll try and find the articles where he talked about wanting to play for LSU if anyone's interested. I think they were from his sophomore year.

BATON ROUGE - A formal announcement hasn't been made and the paperword hasn't been filed, so the LSU faithful and coaches still have to take Lake Charles defensive back Janzen Jackson at his word that he will chose the Tigers. And while recruiting season always holds an element of paranoia, head coach Les Miles, without using Jackson's name to avoid running afoul of NCAA regulations, hinted Wednesday he believes Jackson's verbal commitment will hold.

"I have had some confirming conversations so I'm pretty trustworthy," Miles said, after noting one in-state player remains unaccounted for in a 2009 recruiting class ranked by the national services as one of the nation's best.

"I spoke with the dad and it's being directed this way so far as I know," Miles added.

Jackson, a five-star recruit, verbally committed to LSU last year but doubts about this solidity of that commitment have begun to surface. Last month he paid visits to Tennessee and Alabama, according to published reports.

Jackson was supposed to announce his decision at a press conference Wednesday morning but he did not appear. His coach later said the mixup was due to Jackson's desire to have his entire family present for his announcement and his mother was unable to make it from California in time.
