I hear ya. UF's class is downright scary enough that I had to check to see how our current class stacks up. Luckily 2010 should be an adequate enough lead-in to a "hyperbole worthy" class in 2011.

In short, LSU and UF should be close enough in talent for us to be able to compete.

The amazing thing is that 11 of those guys are already enrolled! And all of this with uncertainty surrounding the coaching situation.

looks good on paper...excellent corridor recruiting. tons of talented, teachable football players up east just waiting for the chance to play in good weather for name programs. Urban Meyers fully understands what it takes to win in the SEC...and if you win in the SEC you are bcs bound.

Jordon Reed

He redshirted this year. So they'll have two years of Brantley, then this guy will come in and take over as a RSJR.

Reed's best other offers were from Oregon and Tennessee. Pretty good right there. He's got good size and speed, if we are to believe the 40 time on his rivals page is still or ever was accurate.

This guy they took for this class....I imagine they envision him as a career backup.

They offered Baxter at QB and it's looking like he'll end up in Gainesville

It is sick and likely to end with more points according to Rivals than any class since they have started keeping score. I think the most points ever was a little over 3000, and UF will probably break that by the time they are done. Truly an absurd class.

Only ten from out of state and three of those are five star. A good year.

Baxter wont play QB for us. He may get some snaps from the position, sort of like a wildcat type deal, but our QB after Brantley will be one of the many studs from next years QB class. Most likely Christian Lemay or Teddy Bridgewater.

Florida may well end up with Seantrel Henderson and/or Chaz Green. And last year's o-line class was VERY good with guys like:

Nick Alajajian (you've probably seen his highlight tape)
Xavier Nixon

I think we end the class with Henderson, Baxter, and Coxson. if we get Da'Rick Rogers on campus I think we may have a chance at him as well, but at this point I think he's a longshot.

i don't think we get henderson...the ship has sailed on him imo

i think we finish with chaz green, coxson or christian green, and a +1 type such as Baxter

From everything ive heard, florida has a very good shot at landing Baxter.

They have like 6 DB's, now I know not many of them can be converted to WR/RB or such. Many of them will never see the field in a starting capacity, and probably just be special teams players for a long while.
