We know this defense is lacking dudes rn on every level but imo safety is the biggest position where the lack of guys is glaring. Jaridn Gilbert and sage Ryan has to be one of the least athletic safety tandems we’ve had in quite some time. On milroe’s longest TD run he flat out pulled away from Gilbert and Ryan. We need to get back go having rangy delpit type safeties again. Im high on Spears’s future but we need a randy safety to pair with him. I like the addition of Bradford at safety for the class but adding a pure center fielder like fegans imo would fully complete the DB class

This would be true had Sage Ryan and Andre Sam not been the starting duo last year.

ESPN always boosts Alabama recruits. Not talking about those that go to Bama, but just in general the state of Alabama always puts in 2 to 3 more guys in the ESPN150 than Louisiana, which statistically is inaccurate because Louisiana has always had way more players in the NFL than the state of Alabama.
Alabama has 10% more population than Louisiana yet underperforms with 17% fewer NFL players. This means that per capita Louisiana outproduces per capita by 1.33x than Bama. Yet they always have more ESPN150's and higher ranked recruits despite 17% fewer NFL players year in and out.

So, 69, you're saying he's overrated?

He’s definitely not overrated at all! I’ve seen him play plenty of times. He’s all over the field
