Haven't heard much about this kid, but noticed he made All-State in Class 4A as a RB this year after making that list as a DB last year. Sounds like a tremendous athlete despite his 5'7" 185 lb frame.

Anybody got insight on this kid?

Which reminds me, wtf happened to that 5 star kid who we got from Loranger a few years back.

Jeryl Brazil. Got kicked off of LSU because he was a punk who couldn't stay out of trouble. Think he ended up at SLU.

Jeryl Brazil he has been at ULL playing football and running track last year but I think he got in trouble again. Not sure where he's at now.

That's right, ULL not SLU. Thanks for the correction.

When did Loranger become 4A? They were 2A not too long ago.

Very recently. They are having kids bussed in from Hammond and Amite to "increase diversity." Plus a lot of the families that moved up after Katrina had young kids who are now in high school.

I went to Ponchatoula, which already had 1,600 students when I graduated, and they're doing the same thing now. I guess it's Parish wide then.

Crazy.

It's not bad at Ponchatoula. They managed to keep the trouble makers out.

I think know last year's enrollment was about 1500. They do a good job of keeping the trash out. If a student isn't trying they get rid of them.

Our other RB commitment is 5'7'. Do we want two 5,7' RBs?

Seems like he would just be a good ATH to round out a class. Perhaps play some DB and special teams. Not saying he should be considered a headline recruit.

Evan was the best player we played against all year, someone is getting a steal with him. Don't think he has any big time offers, because I don't think he's nearly the size you listed, but he's a fantastic athlete.

PHS is up to almost 1800 now.

Thanks. I just posted the numbers that were in the Advocate article listing the 4A All-State team. Have no clue how big he actually is.
