ESPNU is just trying to add drama. The kid just wants to have an announcement ceremony and they must've just had an LSU hat lying around to stick up there.

Hey, if it's a State of Alabama prospect that wants to put an LSU hat on the table, even though he's all Gump, that's fine with me. Free publicity.
No one expects an Alabama kid to NOT go to Bama if offered.
Turn it around, what if say Boutte put a Bama hat on his table this morning, most of y'all would be squriming and not happy about it. Well, maybe a few Gumps weren't real happy about Liner's move either.....
