Fowler talks to the UT coaches about every other day, and it sounds like he is genuinely torn between Texas and LSU. He still considers himself a solid LSU commitment, but he said this one could go either way.

However...

People close to Fowler are really pushing Texas, but they’re also going to be very supportive if he does stick with LSU.

His family wants him at UT, he really wants to play for LSU. He's being pulled different directions. Hopefully he really likes Aranda. I can't imagine it being bad for him.

I hope we sign him.

He's in to see a lot of PT early and often for us next year. And IMO, is the most college ready LBer commit we have right now.

Must do whatever we can to get him to sign with us.

I really hate when families do this. Heck let the kid go where he feels is best. Texas is a damn dumpster fire right now and they aren't sending anyone to the Pros. Sounds like some selfishness going on in his family.

I totally agree, but not many were saying this with Landon Collins

exactly. It is what it is.

We're not his parents and don't have the right to tell them how to raise him. They care about him and probably just want him close.

Young man, take this for what it's worth, don't follow what people that have not been in your situation tell you. Follow the path you feel you are being guided to internally.

The point he's making is that no one was bashing his mom for saying she wanted him at LSU.

I really hope this kid sticks because we need LBs and he can play right away.

I also noticed that there is a soph on the Manor team that plays LB, 6'2" 215 with the last name Fowler. If I had to guess, they're related.

We need this kid. Badly.

Him and Divinity are both set to play a lot next year.

I wonder if anyone would agree with this statement if it was made to, let's say, Dylan Moses.

Yes. Dylan should not make his decision based on outside influence, which would include idiots on a blog.
