Eric Harper 6'3 305 7th/8th grader & George Whitfield controversy

The Tim Fletcher Show in Shreveport talked to the mom of 13 year old Eric Harper who is attending a camp at LSU. She said it was very impressive and he was working with Nate Livings his first day. She said when she got to the field the players had been bussed in and she was trying to find her son. She went to the first staff guy she could find and when she described him they instantly said "oh the big kid from Shreveport?" She also said he has been working with sports trainer for awhile. She was able to talk with Coach Cameron and he was impressed at his size and athleticism. I didn't get to hear the whole segment though.

Also apparently in preparing to do a story about George Whitfield the QB guru Brandon Harris was learning from at his camp last week. Fletcher noticed on his wiki page it had him listed as an Arena league QB for like 4 years but he couldn't find him listed on the roster of any of the teams he was supposed to be the QB of and George attacked Fletcher. It all in the link above.

I believe she said he was at Caddo Middle Magnet. He is also very smart.

I guess that's funny. The mom was saying when performing a lot of the drills they teach down at the camp her son was very comfortable doing them because a lot of them are the same drills he has been doing with the trainer.

Yes. I'm pretty sure La'el Collins is considered obese by medical terms but he is the prototypical size for his position.

Caddo Middle Magnet allows players on their team that are not students at the school. It's through Rec League. It's always been that way. Not sure of this kid's status.

He is in the gifted program at magnet. The smart statement was not because he plays for a magnet program. Tim Fletcher knows the kid personally and was raving about how smart and mature he is for 13.
I also played at middle magnet and yes it was that way then.

Lol yeah I guess so. His wiki page has been edited since. Fletch even told him he wasn't trying to crack some case he was just trying get clarification because it was so vague. But then he went on the offensive.

All I was getting at was you didn't have to put "females included" athletes covered it enough.
