I’d rather we land a 4 star kid in high school than take someone who couldn’t even start at another school

That depends on whether Smith and/or Wingo stay or if anyone else hits the portal. Also, will we take one or two from JUCO?
That said, we basically had an empty class on DL that year, so having someone with 3 years wouldn’t be a bad thing if the staff sees potential. But based his lack of contribution at Auburn, not sure if he’s an SEC-level guy.

It is crazy! Hell can you blame a recruit though look how bad the defense has been all year. I expected a big improvement from week 1 to A&M game it barely moved the needle but was still horrible. I don't know if it's talent, scheme, coaching, or all 3.

Everybody at Neville was shocked when Auburn offered. He’s a big kid but he just doesn’t make many plays. Neville has a DE that may get a 4th star next year but we will see.
