Coach Les Miles is 4-0 at LSU in Bowl games!
Dominating!
It appears when Les has time to prepare, he brings a damn strong team.
He continues to hire quality coaches (LSU fans seem to be pretty happy with Chavis and Cooper)
And is currently reeling in the #1 recruiting class in the country

Josh Downs DE
Quote from his HS coach:
They're (LSU) getting someone who is going to die for LSU," Bradshaw said. "He's going to put it all on the line. He loves that school. They're going to get somebody who is going to go 100 miles an hour every play. His measurables are never going to be off the chart but some things he has you can't measure. They'll get him there. He's just a football player."
Josh played in the ESPN AA game and played impressively, maybe upgraded per some of the scouts...He is already a 4 star!

Drayton Calhoun
Calhoun rushed for 1,211 yards and 12 touchdowns for Tucker during its run to the Class AAAA state championship. He averaged 7.3 yards per carry. The 6-foot, 173-pounder runs a 4.32 40.
We have been hoping for a Percy Harvin type (debose), I reckon we already have one on campus....flying under the radar!
4.32
impressive offer list

Thank God we don't have to start an Encouragement Thread (even though we just lost to the Utes Edition) in the SEC Rant like our friend NATidefan might need to.

That doesn't even make sense. Are you saying that LSU doesn't have to make one cause you just lost to the Utes or.......... Either way, mine was way funnier. I mean, who didn't like Stuart Smalley.

Chris Faulk
Faulk was named a 2009 Parade All-American.
"I'm honored," said Faulk. "It's a great feeling."
According to his high school offensive coordinator and line coach:
"I went to San Antonio for the All-American combine. We spent a lot of time, just man to man, talking about how he needs to carry himself in a different way, not in a conceited way, but just having the confidence to know that he can go out on every play and dominate. I sat in the stands and saw him do one-on-ones with the best defensive tackles in the country, and he just completely dominated these kids. I knew right there that he was coming into his own."
"It's hard to come up with words to talk about what it has meant to coach someone like Chris. After we got beat by St. Thomas More (in his last game at Northshore in the first round of the state playoffs), I mean, what do you say to a kid who has taken everything you've told him to do and picked it up to a T? I just told him 'I love you like a son. You're going to do great things in your life."
"It's just unbelievable what he has accomplished," his father Harris Faulk said. "Everything he's done, he's done with character. I don't have the words to express what it means."
Proud Father

Great Post!
There are a lot of Rantards on here that simply post stuff like "That's Germans" or "That's been discussed 2234 times before" or "You misspelled a word", etc. These individuals add nothing. They are idiots. They normally don't know anything, so that's all they are capable of posting. So please ignore them and keep up your great posts, positive or negative. Thanks.

Josh Downs
"Josh Downs, a four-star defensive lineman, has committed to the Tigers. Downs, who has cared for his handicapped mother with little fanfare, likes LSU so much he sat on a motel bed and cried when Bradshaw delivered the news LSU had offered a full scholarship."

What's the point of all us? Just amazing how far we've come. The talent on this team is just sickeningly good these days. Amazing to look at how many players were truly considered elite coming out of high school.
This is two deep in HS All American Talent..Add Randle and Mingo and one more, that makes 45, and an LSU all time high
