So, after exploring his out-of-state options, what’s the urgency to make his way back to LSU?

Emery has commitment on his mind.

“I’ve been looking at all the schools I’ve been at and comparing them,” he said. “I’ve balanced the schools and basically, it’s time. Why wait so long if you already have the school you want? I’m not for sure going to commit this summer, but that’s what I plan on [doing] after visiting these schools and finishing comparing them. I’ll go to LSU and to Tennessee, then make a move. That’s a plan of mine.

“I feel like it’s time. At one point, I started feeling one college more than the other colleges. I have my eyes on one college right now, and after going to these different colleges, I got a feeling that you get when you feel like it’s home already. I’m feeling that school and that’s what makes me want to commit. I may wait it out and be patient, though.”

“Most of those players are from The Boot, so that’s a connection. I basically know everyone on LSU as far as players and there’s two players I played with on LSU,” he said, referring to Glen Logan and Justin Jefferson. “The coaches are outstanding. When I met them, it felt like family, and I can’t say that for every school I’ve visited. I have a great relationship with Coach O [Ed Orgeron]. He keeps it real.”

Emery will be visiting LSU this weekend. One caveat is that his dad went to Tennessee so with UT and LSU as remaining visits he could pull the trigger for Tenn, but it seems we are in better shape then we thought. I hope so because he is my favorite of the 3 RBs based on what I see on film, but as long as we get 2 out of 3 I will be happy.
